Adaptive Systems is an independent AI engineering studio.
We build AI systems for businesses that can't afford a confident wrong answer, such as clinics, trades, agencies, professional services, finance teams and lenders, and we run the same systems ourselves.
Most AI demos are a prompt and a nice interface. They look great until a customer asks about a price that isn't in the documents, a lead writes "ignore previous instructions", an invoice arrives with a new bank account, an applicant sends a statement with a raised salary, or the model provider has a slow afternoon.
We start from the other end. Hard facts live in configuration or on the page they came from. Models read and draft, but deterministic code makes the decisions that matter, and every decision lands in an audit log you can read. Slow providers fall back to other models, and if none respond the system degrades gracefully instead of erroring. Then we test it like any other software: golden suites across a dozen industries, measured accuracy on documents with known answers, security reviews, real voice calls.

Docket
Document intake for finance teams: invoices, receipts, purchase orders and credit notes are read by a model, every value is located on the page and checked by code, and a risk gate stops bank-detail swaps, duplicates and PO mismatches.

Dossier
Document verification for lenders, letting agents and firms with AML duties: bank statements, bills, payslips and IDs are read by a model, then code examines the file itself, the arithmetic and the MRZ, and compares every name, address and date with what the applicant declared. Edited statements, retyped amounts and borrowed documents are caught.
